Operate stationary equipment such as bale press to perform post-harvest tasks such as ginning; record weights and other identifying information including weight of bale and seed; Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery; Guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines; Drive and control equipment to support agricultural activities such as ginning; Load and unload cotton onto trailer in the field; Drive truck to haul cotton bale, module, burr to or from field/storage and around gin yard; Adjust, repair, and service trucks; Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions; Adjust, repair, and service machinery and notify supervisors of malfunctions; Daily upkeep and cleaning of equipment while ginning; During times of peak need and depending on weather or crop conditions, hours requested may increase to up to 12 hours per day; work at night may be requested; Employer may request but cannot require workers to work on their Sabbath. Approximate staggered entry: 8 workers to begin Sept 15, 20 workers to begin Oct 1, and 12 workers to begin Nov 1.
