Duties may include: Assist with daily farm functions including but not limited to the following: Prepare seed potatoes for shipping. Attach farm implements and drive tractor in fields to prepare soil. Operate various farm equipment (tractors, farm trucks, etc.) for planting, spraying, cultivating, fertilizing, and harvesting of vegetables. Thin, hoe, and weed row crops using hand implements. Other miscellaneous duties assigned. Crops: potatoes, onions, carrots, corn, soybeans, sweet corn. 30 minute meal break offered. Maintain and repair equipment & other related Agricultural Equipment Operator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org).

Possible weekend/holiday work.

The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate.
