Duties may include: Maintain/repair machinery and equipment, i.e., change fluids in equipment, rotate tires, clean grain bins, wash vehicles, change brakes, check tire pressure, general maintenance, etc. Load/unload trucks. Drive farm trucks to haul grain. Maintain/clean shop area. Miscellaneous duties as assigned & other related Agricultural Equipment Operator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org).
Possible weekend/holiday work.
The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate.
