General farm labor including harvesting crops with combines, preparing fields after harvest, attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools, operate tractors, sprayers, operate other farm equipment, load crops and unload crops. Employees will maintain, repair, and overhaul farm machinery and vehicles, such as tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems, inspect mechanical equipment to locate damage, defects, or wear, install machine or equipment replacement parts, drive trucks to weigh stations before and after loading and along routes in compliance with state regulations, load or unload trucks or help others with loading or unloading, using special loading-related equipment or other equipment as necessary, maintain logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations, obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required, operate equipment, such as truck cab computers, CB radios, phones, or global positioning systems (GPS) equipment to exchange necessary information with bases, supervisors, or other drivers, perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oil, fuel, or radiator fluid, performing minor repairs, or washing trucks. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employer’s discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.
