Job Description
Braswell's Leisure Manor is looking for 3 med techs/caregivers:
Med Tech#1: Wednesday-Sunday 3pm-11pm
Med Tech #2: Saturday/Sunday 6:30am-3pm, Monday/Tuesday 3pm-11pm
Med Tech #3: Friday-Monday 6:30am-3pm and Tuesday 7am-1pm
Med Tech Duties:
Set up and assist administering medications as directed by healthcare providers
Order medications as needed
Quality patient care
Documentation of medication administration
Documentation of resident care and concerns
As a med tech there is always some caregiving involved
Responding to emergency bells and sending residents to the hospital as needed
Caregiving Duties:
Assist residents with activities of daily living. Including changing adult briefs, changing clothes, feeding, ambulating and bathing.
Skills:
-Proficiency in medication administration
-Experience working in an assisted living facility or long-term care facility is a plus
-Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality guidelines-
As a Medication Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing quality care to residents. Your attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work well under pressure will contribute to the overall success of our team.
