Café Attendants will be responsible for tending to the cafeteria, ensuring the food area is clean and food is stocked and replenished from the kitchen. Café Attendants will serve boxed lunches to employees from the food truck. Café Attendants must ensure warm food remains in the designated warmers and cold food is kept cold on ice. Café Attendants must communicate with the culinary staff regarding food levels and food replenishing for the Cafe. The attendant will rotate and refill the food line as prepared by the culinary staff with a rolling cart from kitchen to cafe. Café Attendants will be responsible for setting up the café for service, and may assist with the setup of other areas (dining rooms, banquet rooms, event areas at members’ homes, outdoor dining areas), for meetings and events by turning on buffet warmers, stocking ice in buffet chillers, turning on soup kettles, turning on plate warmers, setting up coffee machines within Server stations and in dining rooms for guests, arranging tables and chairs, and setting out butter, glassware, dishware, and linens. Café Attendants must ensure meeting rooms are set up prior to meetings by setting out food and beverage table, coffee and water, and breakfast breads and cookies for scheduled meetings. Café Attendants will assist with refreshment setups for card games (Bridge) twice a week. Café Attendants must restock food, beverages, and utensil inventory from order deliveries. Café Attendants must ensure a clean working environment by carrying dirty dishes to the dish pit and restocking the café with clean dishes, cleaning and wiping sinks with sanitizing spray, clearing and wiping dining tables and buffer lines with sanitizing spray, cleaning out ice bins and buffet wells to remove left over ice or water, and taking garbage bags to outside waste dumpster. Schedule: 40 hours per week. Work schedule can vary and can include evening, weekend, and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday through Sunday.
