Requirements and Skills

• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT)
• Proven experience in cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures
• Thorough knowledge of sterile techniques and safety protocols in the cath lab setting
• Ability to operate imaging equipment including fluoroscopy and digital imaging systems
• Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and critical thinking skills

Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and other interventional procedures
• Prepare and maintain catheterization lab equipment and sterile field
• Operate and adjust imaging equipment to obtain clear diagnostic images
• Monitor patient status and maintain accurate procedural documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and infection control protocols
• Provide patient education and support related to cardiac procedures
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Accredited certification as a Cath Lab Technologist, Radiologic Technologist, and Cardiovascular Technologist
