Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety protocols Implement specialized care techniques such as catheter care, wound dressing assistance, and Alzheimer's or dementia care to meet individual needs Use patient transfer methods like Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques safely to prevent injury for both patients and staff Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations while managing medical documentation and records with precision Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams in acute care settings such as ICU, emergency medicine, or trauma centers to ensure seamless patient care transitions Skills Proven experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatric patients, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring memory or behavioral health support Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and aseptic techniques essential for safe patient care Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation and record keeping Ability to perform basic life support (BLS), CPR, and other emergency response procedures confidently in urgent or trauma situations Experience working in specialized environments like long-term care facilities, hospital medicine units, or sub-acute care settings is highly valued Excellent caregiver communication skills to effectively coordinate with patients, families, and healthcare teams Physical stamina for heavy lifting, safe manual handling practices, and prolonged periods of standing or walking during shifts Join us in delivering compassionate care that transforms lives!
