Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking: 1. OTAs looking for part-time position, to see pediatric patients in outpatient setting, after school (hours are 3pm to 6pm, approximately 12 hours weekly); and 2. fulltime OTAs, dedicated and compassionate to join a fast growing outpatient clinic in Bremerton, WA. Are you an OT assistant, with a passion for helping children with developmental challenges , sensory processing disorders, behavioral concerns, to reach their fullest potential? Are you Interested in learning vision rehabilitation for children and adults? This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated professional who want: 1. Work with children with a variety of developmental and behavioral difficulties 2. have mentorship, and strengthen therapeutic intervention skills 3. learn more about vision rehabilitation, primitive reflexes, feeding sensory, 4. work with adults with brain and other neurological injuries/challenges (optional) 5. Make a meaningful difference in the lives of families, children and adults Requirements Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) from an accredited program. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and occupational health principles relevant to patient care. Experience working with diverse populations in outpatient, skilled therapy interventions for children and young adults. Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Prior experience in pediatrics and/or outpatient clinics is highly desirable.
