In this temporary position, the Concrete finisher will perform work on commercial paving, slabs, sidewalks, and vertical wall applications. Spread, level, and smooth concrete, using rake, shovel, hoe, tamper, scraper, hand or power trowel, hand or power screed, and float. Finish concrete surfaces, use measuring devices to verify levelness or verticality, such as a level, tape measure, and square, operate power construction equipment such as skid loaders, mini excavators, backhoes, and concrete carts. Apply adhesive, caulking, sealants, or coating. Perform job duties under verbal directions by the owner or supervisor. Clean-up job worksites as needed. Additionally, workers will ensure worksite grounds are clear of snow and ice before beginning work due to winter temperatures.
