Shift / Schedule

Requirements and Skills

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required
  • Proven experience in inpatient dietetics and clinical nutrition care
  • Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy across various clinical settings
  • Ability to perform nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Proficient in patient documentation and use of electronic medical records
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments of inpatient clients
  • Develop and implement personalized nutrition care plans tailored to patient needs
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, and therapists to optimize patient outcomes
  • Monitor patient progress and modify nutrition interventions as necessary
  • Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and their families
  • Maintain accurate and thorough nutrition documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in clinical nutrition and dietetics

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Current Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification
  • Licensure as required by the state of Minnesota
  • Previous inpatient clinical experience highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to patient care
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $57.00 - $67.00
