The Farm Hand will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to the production
of vegetables, orchard trees, honey bees, and livestock (including but not limited to corn, green
beans, squash, watermelon, pumpkin, okra, peppers, onions, broccoli, pees, tomatoes,
berries, apples, cherries, pears, peaches, plums, chickens, swine, cattle and goats); planting,
cultivating and harvesting various fruits and vegetables for sale to retail customers; recording
and collecting information about crops and products including growth, production rates, and
costs; utilizing hand tools including shovels, towels, hoes, pruning hooks, shears, and knives;
repairing farm structures and fences as necessary; cleaning and maintaining livestock housing
areas in addition to maintaining pastures.
