Duties may include: Maintain a cow/calf operation; hay and feed cattle; water cattle and maintain water tanks; routine and urgent care for livestock; monitor the herd for signs of illness or injury; assist with breeding and calving; administer vaccinations and medications; routine maintenance and repair of both permanent and temporary fencing; basic vehicle, trailer, and equipment maintenance & other related Farm Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093 (onetonline.org).
Possible weekend/holiday work.
The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate. See attached Addendum C.
