Rice harvest duties include assisting in the grain storage facilities. Employees will be trained in all manners of safety including lockout tagout and other safety protections before beginning work. All PPE will be required and provided by employer. Housekeeping and maintenance of the grain facility as well as filling the storage will be the bulk of this part of the employment. Maintenance of the grain facility involves greasing lube points with a grease gun. Sweeping rice hulls that are expelled from the facility and dumping them in a pile for removal. During rice harvest workers are expected to help maintain a clean and operational environment for the rice dryer and warehouse. All work will be closely monitored, tracked and assessed for quality, accuracy and production results.
