Duties may include: Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops. Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment. Clean work areas and equipment, and maintain grounds and landscaping. Load agricultural products into trucks, and drive trucks to market or storage facilities. Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures & other related Farm Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org).
Possible weekend/holiday work.
The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate.
