The seasonal agricultural worker will perform duties related to livestock care and general farm operations, including feeding and watering livestock; monitoring feed and water supplies; mixing and distributing feed, additives, and medications according to prescribed instructions; examining livestock for signs of illness, injury, disease, or abnormal weight gain; spraying, dipping, or bathing livestock with disinfectants or insecticides; herding and moving livestock to pastures, scales, trucks, pens, or other enclosures and shifting animals between grazing areas as needed; moving livestock, equipment, and supplies between locations using vehicles or other equipment; cleaning and maintaining stalls, pens, livestock facilities, and equipment using disinfectants, brushes, shovels, hoses, or pumps; inspecting, maintaining, and performing routine repairs on equipment, machinery, pens, yards, fences, and buildings; and maintaining livestock growth, feeding, production, cost, inventory, and operational records. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employer’s discretion, Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.
