Precondition and maintain cattle: Monitor birthing of baby calves, hay all cattle, haul water to cattle, mix feed, monitor health, vaccinate, rotate cattle between pastures. Operate feed truck/pay loader. Clean pens, maintain fence. Manure hauling. May haul cattle to market. Handling live cattle and feed trucks. Maintain facilities of feed yard. Assist with daily chores. Assist with green house duties and activities. Weed, hoe, plant, pick, wash, and crate vegetable crops. Stake and transplant crops. Work in the greenhouse planting, filling soil, and watering. Load and unload trucks during farmer's market days. Clean up fields by pulling up old plants, plastic mulch, and drip irrigation tape. Move irrigation pipes if needed. Use hoes to pick produce. & other related Farmworker, Livestock activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093 (onetonline.org).
Possible weekend/holiday work.
The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate. See attached Addendum C.
