Workers must be able to: harvest crops (primarily spinach and spring mix lettuce, though workers may also harvest onions in or around April 2027); operate farming equipment; operate machinery used to plant, cultivate, and harvest crops; load crops into trucks; weed crops (weeding will be done by hoe, not hand, and with a long-handled hoe); perform manual agricultural tasks; clean work areas; and any other tasks, duties, and work activities under SOC Code 45-2092. Related duties may be assigned. Work is performed outdoors in highly varied weather conditions. Frequent walking, stooping, bending, crouching, and kneeling is required. Highly repetitive motions to reach crops at ground level and place the crops in appropriate containers are required. Being on one’s feet for long periods of time is required. Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and carry weight up to 50 pounds is required. Dexterity to use and manipulate hand tools, farm equipment, and crops is required. Vision, focus, and cognitive ability to accomplish the functions above is required.
