Bring cattle back from summer pastures. Wean and vaccinate calves. Pregnancy check cows and vaccinate. Feed cattle daily. Salt and mineral cattle as needed. Check cows/calves daily for sickness and or injury. Maintain feed equipment. Check water supply daily/break ice. Move cattle as needed. Prep calving facilities. Move in winter feed/prep as needed. Snow removal as needed. Begin calving in February and continue through May. Assist cows with calving as needed. Take care of orphaned calves as needed. Tag newborn calves daily. Brand/Work calves. Move pairs as needed. Clean facilities as needed. Prep summer pastures. Move cattle to summer pastures (May). May need to drive to town to pick up cattle supplies on occasion. Other seasonal cattle duties as assigned.
Farming with: Beef Cattle. No CDL Required and no commercial truck driving required.
