Golden Hills, LLP is looking to add seasonal help to a background feedlot. The need is during the months of September to May when weaned calves are received and processed in the fall and grown through the winter months to be processed and shipped to grass pastures in the spring season. Attend to live farm, ranch animals that include cattle; Duties include feeding, watering, herding, grazing, castrating, branding, catching, and loading animals; Maintain records on animals; Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; Administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate; Move livestock from one location to another; Clean and maintain animal housing areas; Provide mineral to cattle; Operate bedding and feeding equipment (ex. Feed truck and payloader) and manures scrapers; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment.
