Duties may include: Perform routine food preparation and kitchen support tasks in a food service setting. Duties include cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and kitchen surfaces. Store food and supplies in designated areas following standard procedures. Assist with basic food preparation such as washing, peeling, cutting, portioning, and assembling food items according to established guidelines. Place food on plates or in containers for service. Package take-out items and assist with simple food service. Maintain stock of food, supplies, and utensils in work areas, refrigerators, and storage areas. Hand-carry food, supplies, and equipment between storage and work areas. Operate standard kitchen equipment such as dishwashing machines and basic food preparation tools. Perform general cleaning duties, including removing trash, cleaning garbage containers, and sweeping and mopping floors. Follow supervisor instructions and established procedures to support kitchen operations & other related Food Preparation Worker activities as per SOC/OES 35-2021 (onetonline.org).
Standard/Expected Schedule: Sunday - Saturday 5:00 AM-11:00 PM. Offering 45+ (plus) hours per week; not including applicable lunch and/or breaks. Possible weekend/holiday work. Start/end times, offered hours and/or overtime could vary as they may be dependent upon other factors such as project/schedule/service needs, weather, and commute time between worksites (if applicable).Overtime possible, but not required or guaranteed. At Employer's sole discretion: possible raises and/or bonuses based on individual factors such as work performance or skill (not guaranteed).
