We are a pecan farming operation based in Albany, GA. We currently farm 2300 acres in three counties. All applicants must have a valid driver's license and a clear criminal background. Applicants must be able to operate relevant equipment to a pecan operation, complete maintenance on farm equipment, weld, graft and repair equipment. Required 3 months experience in these activities within the last three years. Applicants may be operating harvesters, tree shakers, sweepers, wheeled loaders, grafting pecan trees, planting trees, spraying trees, trimming, cutting down trees, mowing, repairing irrigation, picking up limbs, digging trenches, picking pecans, servicing and repairing equipment, and working at the pecan cleaning plant. Applicants must have a reference from a previous supervisor confirming reliability at attending work at required hours and skills required for this job. The employer, at its sole discretion, grant pay increases based on factors such as performance, longevity, and/or experience.
