Licensed Vocational Nurse in Lubbock, TX

Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Licensed Vocational Nurse to work in a state hospital located in Lubbock, TX. Pay Rate: $40.10/hr Location: Lubbock, TX Schedule: 2pm-10pm (Required to work every other weekend shift) Shifts are alternating to meet staffing needs. Will be required to work every other weekend. 32 hours per week guaranteed Job Duties: Provide care for patients - manage medication administration and treatments; provide medication education and complete documentation. Perform computer data entry - Receive full training Licensed to practice Nursing in Texas (LVN) 1 year, but preferably 2+ years as a direct care nurse Competent in advanced skills such as gastrostomy tubes/enteral feedings, Foley catheters, tracheostomies, etc. Requirements: Must possess valid LVN license Must comply with HHSC immunization requirements Must submit to HHSC required drug test Must submit to HHSC required fingerprinting Must complete facility and HHSC required training Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Basic Life: $25,000 (100% employer paid) Basic Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) : $25,000 (100% employer paid) Voluntary Life/AD&D: Additional coverage options available for employees, spouses and children (100% employee paid) Company 401(k) plans with eligibility from the 1st day of the month following hire.
