Licensed Vocational Nurse in Lubbock, TX

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our healthcare team. The LVN will provide high-quality patient care, monitor patients’ conditions, administer medications and treatments as ordered, and work closely with physicians, RNs, patients, and families to ensure safe and effective care. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established care plans and facility policies. Monitor and document patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Assist with wound care, injections, catheter care, and other nursing procedures within the LVN scope of practice. Communicate changes in patient condition to the RN, physician, or appropriate healthcare provider. Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation. Assist patients with activities of daily living as needed. Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and care plans. Follow infection-control, safety, and HIPAA policies and procedures. Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote quality patient outcomes. Perform other nursing duties as assigned. Qualifications Current and active LVN/LPN license in the state of employment. Graduate of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program. Current CPR/BLS certification, or ability to obtain it as required. Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team. Compassionate, professional, and patient-focused approach. Previous healthcare experience preferred.
