Job Description
Openwork Health is seeking experienced LVNs for a 24-week contract assignment in a Long-Term Care setting in the Lubbock area, with the opportunity to extend.

Pay Rates:
Local: $34/hour (weekdays)
Local: $35/hour (weekends)
Travel: Estimated $1,500/week (includes stipends, 50+miles from site to qualify))
Position Details:
24-week contract
Long-Term Care setting
32 hours per week guaranteed
8-hour shifts
Day and Evening coverage available
Shift Options:
2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (required to work every other weekend)
OR two doubles on the weekend:
2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Schedule Requirements:
First 5 weeks will require training: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
After training, shifts will be alternating to meet staffing needs
Required to work every other weekend
Responsibilities:
Provide patient care including medication administration and treatments
Provide medication education and complete documentation
Perform computer data entry (full training provided)
Deliver direct nursing care in a Long-Term Care setting
Competent in advanced skills including:
Gastrostomy tubes / enteral feedings
Foley catheters
Tracheostomies, etc.
Requirements:
Must reside within a 2 hr radius from Lubbock
Active Texas LVN license or Compact License
Minimum 1 year, preferably 2+ years, of direct patient care nursing experience
Experience accepted in: Long-Term Care, Medical-Surgical or Psychiatric Nursing
Home Health experience will not be considered
Current CPR/BLS certification through the American Heart Association (must include an in-person skills component)
