LPN – Oncology Clinic Travel Contract (Days) - Rapid City, SD in Rapid City, SD

Staffmax Healthcare is seeking an experienced LPN for an outpatient Oncology Clinic travel assignment in Rapid City, SD. This role is best for an LPN with current oncology experience, strong clinic skills, and comfort working with medical oncology, chemotherapy infusion, hematology, and BMT patients. Compensation Highlights $2,062 Weekly Gross $1,288 Weekly Tax-Free Stipends $19.35/hr Taxable Rate $51.55/hr Blended Rate Why This Role Stands Out Outpatient Oncology Clinic setting No weekends, no call, no major holidays Strong opportunity for LPNs with current oncology experience Work with adult oncology, hematology, infusion, and BMT patients Supportive clinic team with providers, charge nurse, team lead, lab, and chemo nurses onsite Schedule Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM 10-hour shifts 40 hours guaranteed Day off varies based on clinic needs Contract Length: 13 Weeks What You’ll Do Room patients, take vitals, review systems, reconcile medications, and document accurately Assist providers during exams and clinic procedures Review referrals, chart checks, and patient readiness for infusion Obtain orders and coordinate patient flow for oncology visits Work with different physicians within Medical Oncology as needed Use Epic Ambulatory for documentation Required Experience Minimum 1.5 years nursing experience – Required Minimum 1 year current Oncology experience – Required Clinic experience – Required Epic Ambulatory experience – Required Prior travel experience required: must have completed at least one 13-week assignment Requirements Active LPN License – Required BLS Certification – Required Completion of an approved nursing education program Must live more than 100 miles from the facility Permanent staff must wait 1 full year before returning as a traveler Patient Population Adults 18+ Medical Oncology Chemotherapy Infusion Hematology BMT pre-transplant and post-transplant Additional Details Average daily volume: 15–25 patients/day Orientation: typically 5 days May occasionally support other clinic areas, but routine work is within Medical Oncology Scrub color: Navy Blue Free parking available Up to 7 days RTO may be considered if traveler is willing to extend the contract Apply Now This is a strong LPN Oncology Clinic travel opportunity for candidates with current oncology and ambulatory clinic experience.
