Job Description
Omni Inventive Care, a community integrated behavioral health organization, is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit agency which provides a wide array of services throughout Nebraska. Omni is seeking an On-Call, Part-Time, registered nurse to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in coordinating medical issues for all developmentally disabled clients within the Extended Family Home program. Flexibility of hours is a possibility based on the candidate’s ability to manage tasks independently. Some work related time will be via phone call, and being On-Call status.
Duties Include:
Medication Management
ESPI/Crisis Management
Monthly client assessments
Delivery of monthly medications
Attending psychiatric and medical appointments for complex cases
Monitoring of psychotrophic medication for clients.
Perform pre-employment and annual employee physicals
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of Mental Health diagnosis and psychotropic medications
Knowledge of policies and procedures related to the medical field.
Skill in coordination and organization of outside services, training and communicating of medical procedures, administering first aid and CPR.
Ability to read and understand medical records,
Ability to use a computer and electronic medical records system
Education and Experience:
Education includes a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in nursing and a current state administered nursing license.
Preferably one year experience in Mental Health
Licensed RN
Minimum of two years’ experience
Must successfully pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
Must have valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
Must have less than 6 points on driver's license.
