Job Description
ProCare Academy, a locally owned and operated CNA school, is growing! We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic instructors to teach and mentor our CNA students. We schedule day, evening and weekend classes in both our Tacoma and Olympia locations. Our immediate need is for clinical instructors in Pierce County to accompany our students to facilities for their clinical experience. This position is primarily days with some weekends. Hours are flexible - anticipating 40 to 100 hours per month with potential for more! We are always looking for part time classroom instructors as well!
Candidates must have a love for teaching and appreciation of nursing assistants. Additional requirements include:
Minimum of one year experience within the past three years in caring for the elderly or chronically ill of any age
Current unencumbered Washington state license to practice as a registered or licensed practical nurse
Current CPR card
Negative TB test
Ability to pass all required background checks
Previous experience teaching CNAs helpful but not required.
