Position Summary The RN Nurse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nursing operations during an assigned shift, ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality care in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies. This position provides clinical leadership, supports staff, and serves as a key point of contact for residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team when the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing are unavailable. This position reports directly to the Director of Nursing. Qualifications Required Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current, active RN license Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills Ability to work collaboratively with and lead an interdisciplinary team Computer proficiency and experience with electronic medical records Preferred Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience Knowledge of CMS, state, and federal long-term care regulations Experience responding to clinical emergencies in a skilled nursing setting Responsibilities Provide clinical oversight and supervision of nursing staff during assigned shift Assess resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status Ensure care is delivered according to physician orders, care plans, and facility policy Monitor and support proper medication administration and treatment procedures Serve as a resource and mentor to CNAs, LPNs, and other nursing staff Respond to and manage clinical emergencies, incidents, and resident/family concerns Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record Support infection control practices and adherence to safety protocols Communicate significant changes in condition to physicians, families, and leadership Assist with staffing coverage and reassignment as needed during the shift Support compliance with CMS, state, and federal regulations Participate in QAPI initiatives and survey readiness efforts Report shift updates and concerns to the Director of Nursing/Assistant Director of Nursing What We're Looking For Calm and decisive under pressure Passionate about resident-centered care Knowledgeable in long-term care regulations A strong communicator and team leader Comfortable managing multiple priorities during a shift Committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical care Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Ability to work in a fast-paced skilled nursing environment Ability to respond appropriately during emergency situations Pay: $115,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
