Reporting: This position reports directly to the Director of Nursing Services (DNS) and works closely with the interdisciplinary care team. Job Description / Key Responsibilities Assist in supervising daily nursing operations and resident care services. Support care planning, assessments, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team. Monitor clinical documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff. Participate in quality assurance activities, staff training, and survey readiness. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and external partners. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing License: Current, active license as a Registered Nurse in Washington Other Requirements: 1 year experience in long-term geriatric nursing care as RCM or ADON is preferred Interest and awareness of changes and advancement in geriatric nursing and regulations Ability to direct and supervise nursing care and resident care services Current knowledge of county, state and federal laws and regulations that apply to practice of nursing in long term care Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical information, and to be easily understood through verbal communication in the English language. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, and volume. Must have exceptional communication and customer service skills, and be empathetic.
