Shift/Schedule

Requirements & Skills

• Current and valid RN license to practice in Alabama
• Previous experience in emergency nursing or critical care preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure, fast-paced situations
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions
• Perform thorough assessments and initiate appropriate interventions promptly
• Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation
• Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols
• Respond efficiently to emergency codes and crisis situations
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care instructions

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Alabama
• Minimum of one year experience in emergency nursing or related field highly desirable
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
• Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
