Requirements and Skills

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in Emergency Room (ER) and/or Medical-Surgical nursing
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to manage multiple patients and prioritize care effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the ER and Med Surg units
• Assess patient conditions, identify changes, and implement appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Administer medications and treatments accurately following protocols
• Document all nursing care and patient interactions thoroughly and timely
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in good standing
• Minimum of one year nursing experience in ER and/or Medical-Surgical settings
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
