Open and remove oyster meat from shell, separate meat by size/quality, prepare oysters for wholesale/retail sale, clean and sanitize work areas and equipment, place oysters in containers, seal and pack oysters in containers, move, dump, and distribute raw product, remove oysters from boats or trucks, occasionally use material handling equipment (shell stock washer, scales and equipment to handle shellfish), freeze and place oysters in containers
