Workers will perform commercial and residential maintenance including fall/winter storm clean up, shovel, throw, and plow snow. Chip ice, spread salt, apply salt treatments to pavement and walkways. Snow/ice equipment maintenance. Use hand tools and equipment such as snow shovels, plow, snow thrower, salt spreader, and ice chippers. The workers will not be operating a truck with snowplow attachment to the front of the truck and will not be spreading salt via truck. Maintain buildings and worksites in a clean and orderly condition by collecting, removing, and disposing of debris and other waste materials. Entry level; requires supervision.
