Workers will perform physical tasks related to the seasonal cleaning and removal of snow and ice from assigned building walkways, entrance steps, and immediate pathways at client facilities. Duties include pushing, manual shoveling, moving, and cleaning snow and ice from sidewalks and building entrances; operating walk-behind snow blowers and walk-behind power sweepers to clear snow from immediate building surroundings; loading debris, trash, and accumulated winter refuse onto trucks for disposal; pretreating and spreading salt, sand, and ice-melt deicing materials on pedestrian walkways and entrances to maintain clear, safe building access; cleaning entrance mats, building entryways, and adjacent vestibule areas of tracked-in snow, ice-melt residue, water, and debris to maintain safe building entry; and cleaning and performing routine maintenance or minor repairs on hand tools and sidewalk snow removal equipment when not in use. Worker will not drive or operate an automotive vehicle; worker does not need a driver's license.
