Fastaff is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses (ER RNs) for high-paying travel nursing assignments across the United States. Success in this role requires strong clinical judgment, quick decision-making, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations. You'll work alongside physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional emergency care and improve patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments and emergency triage Recognize and respond to life-threatening conditions Provide emergency nursing care for patients with acute illnesses and traumatic injuries Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and emergency interventions Monitor patient status and communicate changes to the healthcare team Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to develop treatment plans Stabilize critically ill and injured patients Educate patients and family members regarding treatments and discharge instructions Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Minimum Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Current BLS certification Current ACLS certification Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER/ED) experience Strong assessment, critical thinking, and prioritization skills Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity healthcare environments Preferred Experience Emergency Department (ED) Trauma Center Critical Care Level I or Level II Trauma Facilities Stroke and Cardiac Emergency Care Pediatric Emergency Nursing Rapid Response and Code Team Experience Travel Nursing Experience Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a skilled Emergency Room RN who demonstrates clinical excellence, adaptability, and compassion while caring for patients in urgent and unpredictable situations.
