Job Description
Overview
Hospice RNs specialize in providing end-of-life care to critically ill patients and their families. Hospice RN's job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide medical assistance and pain management to help end-of-life patients remain as comfortable as possible
Lend essential emotional, psychological, and spiritual support for patient family members coping with death
Order medications, obtain equipment, and file records when necessary
Responsibilities
RN must have 2 years of recent Hospice experience and 2 years of RN experience
Must have a valid RN license
Every other weekend commitment
Availability to work one summer holiday.
Availability to work one winter holiday.
Flexibility to commit to an extended contract lasting 20 to 24 weeks.
