Job Description
Overview
Neonatal Intensive Care RNs (NICU RNs) assess newborns and provide direct and individualized care. NICU RNs coordinate with the healthcare team to implement and evaluate patient care plans. NICU RN job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Administer medications and nutrients to patients and monitor vital signs
Provide respiratory care if applicable and specialized feedings
Monitor specialized equipment used on patients, such as incubators and ventilators
Requirements
At least 2 years of RN experience and 1 year of recent experience in the specialty you are applying for
Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
Experience in high-risk patient care
Experience managing high-volume patient environments
Availability to work every other weekend
Availability to work every other holiday
