Overview Operating Room Nurses (OR RNs) care for patients before, during, and after surgery and assist the surgeon in procedures. The OR RN provides direct and individualized care to patients. OR RN job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications Coordinate with medical team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care Create and maintain a sterile and safe surgical environment Conduct pre- and post-operative education Requirements Valid RN License Residency within 50 miles of Summit, NJ Availability to work every other weekend Availability to work every other holiday Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience and 2 years of RN experience Minimum of 2 years of EPIC electronic medical record experience Shift(s) Nights (3x12) Location(s) Summit, NJ Summit, NJ Unique Gifted Benefits Guaranteed Pay - With Guaranteed Pay, you’ll never have to worry about not getting paid if your shift gets canceled for low census.
