Duties may include: Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, trucks, and irrigation equipment to aid in planting, cultivating, harvesting, and hauling harvested commodities from field to farm or to market. Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, hand trucks, forklifts, or transfer augers. Maintain, adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Clean and maintain work areas and equipment, & other related Ag Equipment Operator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org).
Possible weekend/holiday work.
The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate. See attached Addendum C.
