Duties may include: Assist with daily farm functions including but not limited to the following: operate various equipment for planting, spraying, cultivating, fertilizing and harvesting of crops. Maintain machinery. Grain handling, may haul farm commodities. Maintain farm ground/mow. Other miscellaneous duties assigned. This job involves manual labor, lifting, carrying, bending, and long days in the heat and cold. Rain days are typically spent in the shop repairing equipment and preparing for the next days work. Must communicate in English, follow instructions, and be physically capable of performing all job duties & other related Ag Equipment Operator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org).

Possible weekend/holiday work.

The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate.
