Operate stationary equipment such as module feeder to perform post-harvest tasks such as ginning; manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery; operate wheel loader or truck to transport cotton to and from gin storage and fields; guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines; observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions; adjust, repair, and service machinery and notify supervisors of malfunctions; daily upkeep and cleaning of equipment while ginning; during times of peak need and depending on weather or crop conditions, hours requested may increase; work at night may be requested.
