Duties may include: Assist with daily farm functions including but not limited to the following: operate various equipment(combines, tractors, trucks, etc.) for planting, spraying, cultivating, fertilizing and harvesting of crops. Maintain machinery. Grain handling, hauling farm commodities. Farm projects including irrigation assistance and shop hand. Crops include: cotton, peanuts. Other miscellaneous duties assigned. Maintain farm grounds/mow & other related Ag Equipment Operator activities as per SOC/OES 45-2091 (onetonline.org).
Possible weekend/holiday work.
The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate.
