We are a custom harvesting/farming operation. We offer a full service model. We harvest cotton. Once the cotton is harvested, we shred/mow the cotton stalks, spread fertilizer with a self propelled fertilizer spreader, then sow wheat into the cotton stalks with an air seeder. We also apply fertilizer for fall and summer crops beginning in March. We operate all late model John Deere equipment. Applicant will need to be able to drive semi trucks to transport dry fertilizer and wheat seed when needed. Job duties may include and are not limited to tasks such as: apply products such as fertilizers, pesticides, growth inhibitors, etc; attach/detach implements; clean work areas; direct and monitor work during planting and harvesting; haul and spread materials such as but not limited to fertilizer to condition the soil; load and unload materials and commodities; load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields; mix materials, dump solutions or seeds into planter, spreader, sprayer type machinery; operate self propelled machinery; repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; use hand tools such as wrenches, crow bars, air tools, electric tools; work in extreme temperatures. Equipment such as but not limited to the following will be used/operated by the workers in conjunction with the duties being performed: air seeders, augers, cotton stripper/picker, GPS guidance systems, pickups, cars, etc, self-propelled machinery, semi trucks, skid steers, spreaders, tractor/trailer combinations. The workers will be performing the duties to help produce: cotton, wheat. Must speak and understand English.
