Workers will perform assigned duties as instructed by their supervisor. The employer will provide the tools necessary to perform the described job duties without charge to the worker.
Plant work: Packaging- Ability to work with packaging equipment including labeling seed bags, lift
pallets, hang mini-bulk bags, fill bags with seed, lift up to 50 lb. bags of seed. Warehouse
Ability to fix and repair pallets as well as Forklift driving, stacking mini-bulk bags in
packaging. Assist in Lab making sand trays, making retention boxes, cleaning retention area.
General- cleaning work area to maintain a safe working environment, ability to perform general
housekeeping tasks.
In order to perform these types of activities, the worker must be able to work for at least eight hours a day and have the requisite strength and endurance, working quickly and skillfully with their hands. Three months experience in this type of work is required. Workers may volunteer to work additional hours when work is available.
Due to the type of physical conditioning needed, there is a probationary period of five days beginning with the first day of employment to show possession of the required endurance to perform this type of work.
