World Honey Market LLC seeks seasonal beekeepers in Florida from August 1, 2026 through May 31, 2027. All work is performed in Florida; workers do not travel to California. Duties: inspect colonies for strength, brood, queen status, and disease; winterize hives by consolidating colonies, feeding sugar syrup and pollen substitute, and reducing entrances for the Florida fall and winter; treat for mites and disease; rear, mark, and replace queens; make splits and combine weak colonies; build and strengthen hives in January for shipment to California almond pollination; manage the spring gallberry honey flow, including adding supers and extracting honey; load, secure, transport, place, and relocate hives among apiary yards; and assemble, paint, repair, clean, and sterilize hive equipment. Work is outdoors in varied weather with frequent bending, lifting, and repetitive motion. Must lift up to 75 pounds, tolerate a warm climate and stinging insects, and wear provided protective equipment. Applicants must not have an allergy to bee stings or hive products. Schedules vary with weather; Saturday work is required."
