Duties include measuring, cutting, shaping, and installing wooden framing components, roof trusses, and plywood sheathing. Reads and follows blueprints and construction plans. Uses hand and power tools commonly associated with carpentry and framing. Installs cabinets, doors, and fixtures. Works at elevated heights using ladders, scaffolding, and structural platforms. Lifts and carries construction materials such as lumber, plywood, and trusses weighing up to 75 pounds. Performs work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including high heat and humidity typical of Florida. Follows safety procedures and building code requirements.
