Shift / Schedule

Requirements and Skills

• Current certification or licensure as a Cath Lab Technologist or equivalent credential
• Strong knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and patient care protocols
• Proficient in operating and maintaining cath lab equipment
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Adherence to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
• Demonstrated experience in cardiac diagnostic imaging and assisting with interventional procedures

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the catheterization laboratory, ensuring all equipment is fully functional and sterile
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures by operating diagnostic and therapeutic equipment
• Monitor patient vital signs and provide necessary support throughout procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient data
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and safety
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities within the cath lab
• Adhere to all clinical protocols and safety regulations to minimize risks to patients and staff

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited cardiovascular technologist program or equivalent education
• Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or equivalent is highly preferred
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a cardiac catheterization lab or similar clinical setting
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills under pressure
• Ability to maintain composure and provide high-quality patient care in fast-paced environments
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $75.00 - $89.00
