Shift & Schedule Information

Requirements & Skills

• Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
• Proficient in performing and interpreting a variety of laboratory tests in hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and blood banking
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in laboratory results
• Ability to operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with healthcare team members
• Familiarity with laboratory safety procedures and quality control standards
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and analyze clinical laboratory tests accurately and timely
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments and equipment
• Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and quality assurance measures
• Document test results correctly and communicate findings to healthcare providers
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving technical problems
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
• Provide support and training to junior laboratory staff if applicable

Qualifications

• Certification or licensure as an MT or MLT as required by state regulations
• Relevant experience in clinical laboratory settings preferred but not mandatory
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
