Job Description

Summary

Provide hands-on care and support to residents in a small Adult Family Home. Help with daily routines, promote safety and comfort, and complete delegated nursing tasks under the RN and LPN's.

Day Shift Opening. Thursday/Friday/Saturday and every other Wednesday 0700-1900

Responsibilities

  • Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, transfers and mobility
  • Help with meals, hydration and feeding
  • Monitor residents and report changes in condition
  • Administer medications per MAR
  • Perform delegated nursing tasks (after training)
  • Light housekeeping: laundry, disinfecting, tidying rooms
  • Support residents with dementia or behavioral needs
  • Accurate documentation of care
  • Follow all AFH safety and regulatory requirements

    Qualifications

  • Active WA HCA or CNA credential
  • CPR/First Aid
  • Dementia/Mental Health certificate
  • Food Handler’s Permit
  • Able to lift/transfer up to 50 lbs
  • Reliable, patient and comfortable working with seniors

    Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
